Waiting for your body to defrost after you’ve been outside.
So… last night after New Years Eve celebrations, I was in a sketchy part of downtown Brampton with some of my friends. At one point, Crystal and I were by ourselves. Some middle aged woman was fighting with boyfriend on the street. She thought we were talking shit about her so she proceeded to get her other disgusting friends to come over and kick the shit out of us. For no fucking reason.
We were on the ground in a second… my head hurts from them pulling my hair and slamming my head into the concrete. Parts of my head are swollen, I have a lot of bumps too. Bruises on my body. I’m so sore. I’ve been in bed all day. I’m assuming my friend feels the same way.
Best part of it all - someone else called the police. They essentially told us it was our fault because we were drunk and hanging around a “white trash” bar. They literally did not give ONE FUCK about us. THAAAAAAAAAANKS PEEL POLICE. Thanks for completely destroying any respect I have for any of the cops around here.
Fuck. Worst New Years … EVER.
So… after a few weeks of consideration, I’ve decided on my NYE plans.
I will be spending the night in Brampton @ Gage Park, skating the night away. One of my favourite bands Bedouin Soundclash will be playing around 10pm. There will also be fireworks :)
So, so happy! Couldn’t be more perfect.
